Epidemiology of carbapenem resistance Enterobacterales in Saudi Arabia: A systematic review

چکیده

The widespread of multidrug-resistant bacteria, particularly carbapenem-resistant Enterobacterales (CRE) constitutes a major public health threat worldwide, owing to the limited therapeutic options. This review will describe and uncover Saudi experience in challenge against carbapenem resistance (CR). different prevalence carbapenemase genes detected from various bacterial species were mapped for regional distribution, based on published data during period extended 2017 2021. However, VIM, IMP, KPC enzymes usually reported with predominance OXA NDM among Enterobacterales. Although SIM GIM carbapenemases uncommonly our country. Collaborative efforts raising awareness are required minimize spread bacteria.
